Babies of Mangamma (20 yrs) Siva (25 yrs) were born on 25th November 1991 at a Private nursing Home by a cesarean section delivery, with a birth weight, 4 kgs. They were brought up in the Paed. Surgery department for nearly 1 year 3 months with particular care and concern to their physical and mental growth. They had recurrent GE & URI and were treated. They were investigated thoroughly and separation was planned with teams of Surgeons, Anesthesiologists nursing Staff and after many discussions and rehearsals. Surgical separation was conducted on 17th Feb’1993. The fusion was mainly with the livers with normal extra hepatic biliary systems. Rest of the G.I.T. was normal for both babies.
Both Xiphi Sterni ware fused at right angles. Pericardial cavities had communication but hearts were entirely separate.Separation of the livers with abdominal reconstruction was done by two teams of Surgeons separately.

Postoperative period was uneventful and both babies have done well. They were discharged on 21st day after surgery. At present they are healthy studying 6th standard in a school at Guntur.
